Albania has entered the COVID-19 lock–down since 13 March. According to government emergency law, people and cars may only travel between 5 am until 1 pm from Monday to Friday. Essential activities are also limited only to these designated hours.
The Chairman of Irish Friends of Albania, Mr. Jack McCann a well-known lecturer and plastic surgeon, had well planned his continuous support for the Albanian doctors, training them in the field of Microsurgery.
These training visits were due to take place in spring and summer 2020, but due to the COVID-19 situation and the strong restrictions that are put in place, he hopes that these training sessions will take place before the end of 2020.
